Cathedral Appeal
The Cathedral Preservation and Development Trust (Registered Charity Number 1087277 - external link), established in 2001, coordinated a major appeal aimed at making the Cathedral more accessible to all and providing for its future. Several highly successful projects have been completed as a direct result of this initiative and in collaboration with the Cathedral Friends. These include the Narthex, major improvements in the Cathedral itself, notably a new, eco-friendly heating system and the Columbarium.
The Trust has received generous grants and donations from a number of charitable foundations, public bodies, many individuals and community groups. It continues to raise funds in support of the Cathedral. If you would like to make a donation, please use the 'donate' button opposite.
