Volunteering at The Narthex
Volunteering is at the heart of all that we do here at the Cathedral of St John the Baptist and now, the Narthex. We simply would not be able to cope without the large body of dedicated individuals who give tirelessly of their time and talents. They make all the difference.
Our volunteers come from all ages and cultures – reflecting the diversity of the community at large. We welcome everyone who would like to help out, irrespective of background or experience. Everyone has a contribution to make and everyone has something unique to offer. There are opportunities for everyone to give of their talent or learn new skills. Full training (where applicable) and ongoing support is provided together with opportunities to make new friends and enjoy social activities. Our volunteers have great fun too!
If you feel that you have a little time to give, or are looking for a new challenge, then please do get in touch. We would welcome your support – so please do come and take part!
