Visitor Information

The Cathedral of St John the Baptist is Norwich's Catholic Cathedral, but its doors are open to all people from any and no faith. The Cathedral is open from 7.30am until 7:30pm every day of the year. For details of regular services and Masses, please see opposite.

The Cathedral Narthex provides a range of visitor facilities, including a Refectory and Cathedral Shop. The Narthex has the same opening hours as the Cathedral. The Shop and Refectory are open from 10.30am – 4pm Tues – Sat and after Mass on Sunday.

Exposition & Benediction

Public access to the Cathedral and the Narthex are via Earlham Rd. Access to Cathedral House is via Unthank Rd.

Parking

There is limited parking available at the Cathedral and nearby on street parking is controlled by permits and yellow lines. There are some free 2 hour parking spaces in the area but we recommend that visitors use one of the nearby city centre car parks at St Giles, The Forum or Chapelfield show on this map.
