Who are we?

We are a traditional prayer group. We started in February 2006 as a small group of just six people and have grown to a group of over 25 people! We are a mix of ages from younger to retired people. (Parents with young children are welcome to bring them).

What do we do?

We listen to bible readings and psalms. We say intercessory and meditative prayers as well as praying the rosary together. We have weekly themes usually based around the Church’s year or sometimes we dedicate the prayer group to important current issues facing the world today. We also have a special list to pray especially for those who have requested prayers. Many people we know who have been unable to attend the group often ask for prayers to be included on our list.

When do we meet?

The group meets every Monday morning in school term time at 10.40 am (after the 10 o’clock mass) and we have members from across the parishes in Norwich.

Once a year we have a prayer group pilgrimage to Walsingham where we walk the holy mile saying the rosary together and then attend the midday mass followed by a picnic.
