Today the First Holy Communion class will be in the Narthex at 2.30. Parents are invited to meet with Fr James while the children are in the main hall.

At 4 pm young people are invited for a preliminary meeting in Cathedral House at 4 pm to prepare for Confirmation.

The Journey in Faith group meets at 7 pm in Cathedral House.

The Young Adults meet after the evening Mass on Tuesday. 18+ are always welcome.

Wednesday Prayer Group meets in Cathedral House at 7.30 pm. Also on Wednesdays there is an hour of Taize prayer from 6-7 pm in the weekday chapel.

On Thursday the Walsingham Association meets in Cathedral House at 7.30 pm. Anthony Rossi will give a talk on building St John's.

St George's Catholic Church in Sprowston Road welcomes all to attend ‘Lenten Lectures' at 8 pm on February 25th, March 4th, 11th and 18th. See poster at the back of the Cathedral.

Come and enjoy an evening meal with Fr James on the North Norfolk Railway on Friday 21st May. Coach leaves St John's at 5.30 pm. Cost including coach, train and meal £36. Forms at the back of the church. Please return to Pat Scrutton c/o Cathedral House.  Only 4 places left!

Pilgrimage Tours to Iona June 14th-18th and Boulogne August 28th-30th 2010. East Anglia Knights of St Columba are organising two pilgrimage tours this year and invite friends, supporters and parishioners to join them in this their 90th anniversary year. Sponsor a Candle arrangement to fill the Cathedral main aisle in our Centenary Festival of Flowers 24th-27th June. For £25 a dedicated candle arrangement for the festival can be taken away afterwards to keep as a permanent memorial. Sponsorship forms at the back of the Cathedral. Cheques payable to St John's R C Cathedral Flower Festival.

Last Sunday you gave  £1,958.63 (Weekly target: £2000). The Collection for CAFOD came to £1601.55.

Next Saturday morning 1st Confessions in the Cathedral after Mass & Exposition

Help us to give the Cathedral Garden a spruce-up. Every Saturday morning in March, between 1-5 pm we plan to give the garden a mini-revamp. If you can spare the time please come and join us. All abilities welcome. Bring gardening gloves if you have them and any portable gardening equipment-though not essential. We meet in the Narthex at 1 pm: join us when you can.

The Oscar Romero Week begins with the 2-Bishops Conversation on Sunday, 21sr March at the Anglican Cathedral at 3.30 pm. Romero Mass at St John's on Wednesday, 24th at 7.30 pm.
