The Renewal Prayer Group meets in the Narthex after the 10 am Mass on Tuesday 8th June.
The Young Adults meet after the evening Mass on Tuesday. On Wednesdays Taize prayer at 6-7 pm in the weekday chapel. The Wednesday Prayer Group meets every Wednesday at 7.30 pm in the Narthex. All welcome!
Thank you to all who supported Father James's Coffee Morning on June 3rd, and very special thanks to Siro and Neva Valori who hosted it. £172 was raised which will be donated towards the cost of the heating system. The Coffee Mornings continue on Thursday June 17th at 10.30 am in the home of Eileen Doyle, 12 Leopold Close. All are welcome!
Walsingham Association - Next meeting Thursday 10th June at 7.30 pm. Our Speaker will be Tim McDonald with a Talk on ‘His work in Walsingham'.
Come and enjoy a concert from the renowned brass band, Norfolk Brass and raise money for CAFOD and Notre Dame High School's Zambia Project at St John's Cathedral Saturday 12th June at 7.30 pm. The project is to help prepare 60 Zambian pupils for their autumn exams and to raise £5000 to convert a barren-snake infested field into a Sports Field. Cathedral Flower Festival Preview Evening 23rd June - Tickets priced at £10 on sale from the Cathedral Shop and after all Masses this weekend. WE URGENTLY NEED YOUR HELP, VOLUNTEERS are required to act as stewards, tower guides and to help with the catering throughout the festival. Andrew Eburne, one of our servers, will be ordained to the Permanent Diaconate at the Cathedral on Friday, 11th June at 7 pm. Everyone in the parish is welcome to attend the ordination Mass. Please keep Andrew in your prayers as he prepares for ordination.
The next Baptism Preparation Classes for parents wishing to have their child baptised on Sunday 4th July and Sunday 11th July from 4pm-5pm in Cathedral House.

St John's Centenary. On 24th June Bishop Michael will be joined by bishops, priests, deacons and people from around the diocese for a special Celebration Mass. Admission will be by ticket only and a generous allowance of these has been reserved for our parishioners. If you would like a ticket please add your name to the list inside the entrance to the Narthex. Tickets can be subsequently collected from Eve in Cathedral House.
