The Renewal Prayer Group meets in the Narthex after the 10 am Mass on Tuesday 15th June. The Young Adults meet after the evening Mass on Tuesday. On Wednesdays Taize prayer at 6-7 pm in the weekday chapel. The Wednesday Prayer Group meets every Wednesday at 7.30 pm in the Narthex. All welcome!
URGENT: Volunteers immediately required for gardening in preparation for the Centenary on Thursday 24th June. Maintenance of existing garden-hoeing, weeding and edging. Barrowing top soil to ‘bald patch', followed by laying 35 sq metres of turf (18th-19th June). Tough work-bank clearing, for the rest of the summer - gloves and old clothes required!
The Association of Separated and Divorced Catholics will meet for a drink and a chat at the Black Horse pub along Earlham Road, on Tuesday 15th June at 7.30 pm. All welcome to join in hopefully in the garden!

Cathedral Flower Festival Preview Evening 23rd June - Tickets priced at £10 on sale from the Cathedral Shop and after all Masses this weekend. There will be a meeting of all who have volunteered in the Narthex at 7.30 pm on Monday 14th June. Please make every effort to attend. The Annual SVP Sick Pilgrimage to Walsingham on Sunday 4th July. The bus leaves St John's Cathedral at 10 am, calling at Holy Apostles West Earlham. The bus is free and open to all Ring 283727 to reserve a seat.
The next Baptism Preparation Classes for parents wishing to have their child baptised will be on Sunday 4th July and Sunday 11th July from 4 pm - 5pm in Cathedral House.

St John's Centenary. On 24th June Bishop Michael will be joined by bishops, priests, deacons and people from around the diocese for a special Celebration Mass. Admission will be by ticket only and a generous allowance of these has been reserved for our parishioners. If you would like a ticket please add your name to the list inside the entrance to the Narthex. Tickets can be subsequently collected from Eve in Cathedral House.
Invocation 2010: 2-4 July. This is a weekend at Oscott College, Birmingham, for any young people 16-35 who might be considering a vocation to the priesthood or religious life. Please speak to one of the clergy if you are interested in taking part.
Two of our seminarians will be ordained at St John's on 10th July. One of them, Luke Goymour, will be coming to St John's as an assistant priest in mid-August.
