CAFOD Solidarity Soup Supper – 6th March 2020 from 6.45pm – All Welcome

Friday 6th March is Family Fast Day.  We’re having a special soup supper made entirely from vegetables donated by parishioners.  Come join us from 6.45pm onwards for this Solidarity Soup Supper for a donation.  Donations received at this supper will go towards CAFOD’s Zimbabwe and Zambia Food Crisis Appeal.

Cathedral youth group respond to refugee crisis

The youth group at St John’s Cathedral has started packing rucksacks for asylum seekers arriving into the city.

Responding to the refugee crisis, they began collecting basic goods and toiletries from parishioners and Notre Dame School.

The group compiled a list of items from feedback received from asylum seekers, meaning everything the youth group collected was useful.
