Our annual St Nicholas Fair returns on Saturday 9th December 10:30am-4:30pm. This Christmas craft fair has become a staple in our annual programme of events. We have lots of stalls to wander round and pick up wonderful handmade gifts, from wreaths to bath and body lotions, from macrame to concrete crafts, as well as a book sale and raffle.

There will be plenty of festive treats in the Cafe too as well as a visit from St Nicholas himself!

Why St Nicholas?

St Nicholas was the Christian Bishop of Myra during the 4th Century and was persecuted by the Romans. Celebrated across Europe, St. Nicholas’ feast day, December 6th, keeps alive the stories of his goodness and generosity. In some countries St Nicholas rode a white horse and delivered small treats to good children, often left in shoes or boots, or under a pillow.
